If you are U18 and plan to attend the PITP festival with an adult that is not your parent or legal guardian, your parent or legal guardian must provide their consent. The Underage Consent Form is not yet available however feel free to fill out this form and we will let you know when it is ready.

No, names are no longer required on tickets due to the reduced risk of ticket scalping through Tixel, and no longer a requirement for COVID tracing.

There are camping tickets or non camping tickets. Car passes are not included in either of these. If you intend to camp and/or bring a car to the festival you must ensure you’ve purchased the relevant ticket types before the event. If you purchase a Festival Entry/non-camping ticket, and later decide you would like to camp, you will need to contact Oztix to upgrade your ticket (pending there are still camping tickets available) If you buy a camping & festival ticket and decide later you no longer want to camp you will need to sell your camping ticket and purchase the new appropriate ticket. Car passes or parking passes are not included so make sure you add these on if needed.

Yes! The safest way to resell your ticket is via Tixel, which protects buyers and sellers from fraudulent sales. **We do not recommend buying tickets anywhere outside of Tixel.

We’re setting aside a limited number of tickets for individuals to provide at a heavily reduced rate to folks who are experiencing financial hardship. This is an application process, and while we’d love to accommodate everyone, tickets are not guaranteed.

Yes, we accept companion cards. Please email Oztix to arrange your companion ticket, and present your companion card at the gate. Oztix will be able to match any companion ticket with the purchased one.

Yes, if you are driving to the festival please ensure you have the appropriate car pass (either day parking or camping). PITP encourages car-pooling as not only a cost efficient and environmental initiative but also because driving to a festival with mates enhances the experience, yiew! If you bring your car without having purchased the appropriate car pass, you will be charged for this at the gate.

Parking for day ticket holders is available. Make sure you arrive and leave within the gate opening hours. Please note that you will not be able to leave your car here overnight, or you may risk being fined & towed. Any attempts to park on Oaks Rd surrounding the festival will result in being fined & towed.

Yes, there is a drop off/pickup point for cars, Ubers and taxis. Follow signage upon arrival to locate this entry.

Caravans and campers are fine, as long as you remove loose gas canisters and any other prohibited items. You'll also need to purchase an additional CAMPGROUND VEHICLE PASS when buying tickets. You'll need 1 for your car, and one for the trailer/caravan. For a list of prohibited items see the list under "prohibited items / what not to bring". *There is no access to power however, as all our tent and caravan parking is combined onsite

Regular buses will be shuttling regularly from the Launceston CBD to the Festival Main Gate for the duration of the event. More information coming soon - check back for tickets and timetable information.

The closest airport to the festival site is Launceston Airport. If you are coming from the airport there are no direct buses from the airport to the festival site. Your options include: catching a taxi, renting a car, or catching the airport shuttle to the CBD where we offer a bus service to the festival.

No, cars are parked into the campsite in order of arrival, and won't be able to move until Monday at 6am. Camping is allocated in order of arrival so if you want to camp with friends, you’ll need to travel in the same car/convoy or park and carry your tent to your friends campsite if arriving at different times.

Yes, we have the Mellow Meadow, a quieter area of the GA campground. It’s not a silent zone, but it’s perfect for those seeking a more relaxed environment. How to access: Tell the parking attendants once you have passed the gate check and follow the signs to the Mellow Meadow. Its important to remember however that this is not a strictly silent campground with an enforced curfew but more so for those wishing for a slightly chiller neighbourhood.

Passouts are permitted for valid reasons, but if you’ve driven into the campgrounds you will be parked in and will not be able to move your car out until Monday 10th, from 6am, so you will need to arrange a pick up or catch the bus. If you do need to leave the site for whatever reason, you must not remove your wristband. You will not be issued with another one. There is a system organised for people who wish to leave the campsite with their car earlier than Monday. See "I'm camping, but I need to leave earlier than Monday with my car"

You will be able to park your car in a separate area of the campsite, and then walk over to your campsite and set up camp there. Let the gates & parking staff know upon arrival so they can put you in the right spot. Then, you’ll be able to leave with your car on your desired day. If you haven’t flagged with our parking team that you needed to leave early and aren’t parked in the Early Leavers car park, you will need to hang tight and leave on Monday morning

The finer details of showers are still being finalised, but you can expect coin operated showers in both GA and VIP, and the main point of difference is that there are fewer showers to more GA campers, and more showers to fewer VIP's!

This is an all ages event. Underage patrons and their guardians will need to arrive at the gates with a parent/guardian or a responsible adult over the age of 21, or a sibling over 18, and remain with them at all times throughout the event. Guardians may only be responsible for a maximum of 2 underage patrons Any underage patrons found drinking alcohol will be asked to leave the event along with their guardian and any other minors the guardian is responsible for. Parents and the appointed Guardian must fill out the Underage Consent Form & provide their guardianship consent in the presence of a witness prior to arriving at the event. Caravans and fitted-out vans with properly fitted gas equipment are allowed, as they meet safety regulations and are covered under your vehicle insurance. However, loose gas bottles or open setups like standalone gas BBQs are prohibited. If the gas equipment is securely fitted to your vehicle, you're all set!

Gas bottles and canisters (including those inbuilt in vans) Sharp implements ie; knives etc Glass (any bottles, jars and containers) Pets (assistance dogs with the correct paperwork are permitted) Alcohol (Strictly forbidden, if found with this it will be taken and disposed off & a potential forfeit of your ticket) Illegal substances/drugs Fireworks/ flares of any kind Laser pointers Excessive sound systems will be confiscated Personal motorised vehicles of any kind (yes that means motorised eskis!) And any other object the hosts decide could be dangerous or disruptive to the event, this is up to their discretion. All confiscated items other than drugs and alcohol can be picked up from the information tent at the end of the event. If you do not pick these up we will not hang on to them and they will be disposed of.

Food - You are permitted to bring your own food to the festival. In addition there will be a delicious range of food vendors at the event who will be catering to all sorts of dietary requirements. Drinks - The festival is strictly no BYO, but you can bring sealed soft drink. We have multiple bars and vendors around our site serving a full range of drinks hot and cold. Free water refill stations will be available across the site, please bring along a reusable drink bottle as single use bottles will not be available for purchase.

We accept cash and card. There will not be a cash out facility on site so please ensure you have the cash that you will need.

The site is wheelchair accessible. The paddock is mostly flat with a mixture of grass and gravel.
