Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5/10/26

These terms apply when you buy a ticket to Party In The Paddock, come to the festival, or use our website or app. We’ve tried to keep them in plain English. By buying a ticket, entering the festival or using our website, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Party In The Paddock is run by Vibestown Productions Pty Ltd (ABN 97 609 008 853), 66 Cameron Street, Launceston TAS 7250, trading as Party In The Paddock (“PITP”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Party In The Paddock 2027 runs from Thursday 4 to Sunday 7 February 2027 at Quercus Park, Carrick, Lutruwita/Tasmania, with campers leaving on Monday 8 February 2027.

2. Other terms that apply

When you buy from or use our partners, their terms also apply. That includes Oztix (tickets), Tixel (resale), Wallaroo Camping Hire (Pre-Pitch Tents, glamping and gear hire), Afterpay and Zip (payments) and any transport providers.
Competitions and the pre-sale have their own terms. If those terms conflict with these, the specific terms win for that competition or pre-sale.

PART A: TICKETS

3. Buying tickets

Only buy tickets through Oztix, our official ticketing partner, or through Tixel, our official resale partner, once resale opens. We can’t help with tickets bought anywhere else, and fake or duplicated tickets won’t get you through the gate. Prices are in Australian dollars, include GST, and are shown with any booking fees before you pay.

4. What your ticket includes

Your ticket includes festival entry for the days shown on it. A Camping & Festival ticket also includes a general admission campsite.

These are sold separately:

  • Vehicle passes, including Campground Vehicle Passes and Day Parking
  • VIP Upgrades
  • Pre-Pitch Tents and glamping
  • Bus tickets
  • Add-ons and upgrades don’t include festival entry. You’ll need a valid ticket of the right type to use them.
5. ID and wristbands

Names aren’t required on tickets. You’ll need to show valid ID, and your ticket, to collect your wristband. No ID, no wristband.

Your wristband must stay on your wrist for the whole festival. We can’t replace a wristband that’s been removed, damaged or tampered with, and a tampered wristband isn’t valid for entry.

6. Resale and transfers

If you can’t use your ticket, resell it through Tixel once resale opens closer to the festival. Reselling or offering tickets anywhere else, or above the price you paid, isn’t allowed. We may cancel tickets resold in breach of this clause.

7. Upgrades and changes

To add days, camping or a VIP Upgrade, contact Oztix. Upgrades are subject to availability. We can’t downgrade tickets. If you no longer need what you bought, resell it on Tixel and buy the ticket you need.

8. Refunds

We don’t offer refunds for change of mind. Refunds are available where the law requires them.

If Party In The Paddock 2027 is cancelled, we’ll refund the face value of your ticket through Oztix.

If the festival is postponed, your ticket will be valid for the new date, or you can request a refund within the period we announce.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Lineup and program changes

The lineup, set times, stages and activities can change. We’ll always try to replace an act that can’t make it and to keep you updated, but changes to the lineup or program aren’t a reason for a refund, unless the law requires one.

10. Weather and safety

PITP runs rain, hail or shine, so come prepared for Tassie weather. If conditions become unsafe (for example severe weather, fire danger or an emergency), we may delay, change, suspend or evacuate all or part of the festival. Please follow the directions of our crew, security and emergency services.

PART B: AT THE FESTIVAL

11. Conditions of entry

Entry is subject to these terms. We can refuse entry to, or remove from the festival, anyone who breaks these terms or the law, or whose behaviour puts themselves or others at risk. If that happens, there’s no refund.

12. All ages and under-18s

PITP is an all-ages event. Kids 12 and under get in free and don’t need a ticket. Anyone 13 or over needs a ticket.

Anyone under 18:

  • must arrive with, and stay with, their guardian for the whole event. A guardian is a parent or legal guardian, a responsible adult aged 21 or over, or a sibling aged 18 or over;
  • if attending with a sibling or step-sibling as guardian, must show proof of the relationship at wristband pick-up;
  • must have an Underage Consent Form, completed and witnessed before arrival, by their parent or legal guardian and their appointed guardian. No form, no entry.

Each guardian can be responsible for a maximum of two under-18s. Volunteers can’t act as guardians.

Under-18s found drinking alcohol will be removed from the festival, along with their guardian and any other under-18s in that guardian’s care.

The VIP Bar & Deck is 18+ after 7:30pm.

13. Alcohol

PITP is strictly no BYO alcohol. Any alcohol found will be confiscated and disposed of, and you may lose your ticket.

Alcohol is only sold at licensed bars on site, under our liquor licence and the responsible service of alcohol rules. Bar staff can ask for ID and refuse service. We may remove anyone who is intoxicated or behaving in a way that puts themselves or others at risk.

14. Prohibited items

Please leave these at home:

  • Alcohol (strictly no BYO) and illegal drugs
  • Glass of any kind (bottles, jars, containers)
  • Gas bottles and canisters (gas properly fitted into a caravan or van is OK)
  • Camp stoves of any kind (gas, electric or Trangia)
  • Knives, tools and other sharp items
  • Pets (assistance animals with the correct paperwork are welcome)
  • Fireworks and flares
  • Laser pointers
  • Generators
  • Big sound systems
  • Personal motorised vehicles, including motorised eskies
  • Drones, unless approved by us in writing
  • Professional cameras (such as DSLRs) without a valid media pass
  • Anything else our team reasonably considers dangerous or disruptive

Prohibited items will be confiscated. Alcohol and illegal drugs won’t be returned, and illegal drugs will be handed to police. Other confiscated items can be collected from the Info Booth at the end of the festival. Anything not collected will be disposed of.

15. Searches

As a condition of entry, you and your bags, belongings and vehicle may be searched on entry and while on site. If you don’t agree to a search, you may be refused entry or removed from the festival.

16. Behaviour

Our non-negotiables are simple: respect yourself, Country and others.

  • Dickhead Free: aggression, discrimination and ruining someone else’s festival aren’t tolerated. Anyone who does it will be removed.
  • Hands Off: no touching without consent. Harassment and assault will not be tolerated. We’ll remove anyone responsible and involve police.
  • Look After Your Mates: if someone isn’t doing well, bring them to First Aid or the Info Booth. Our medical team is there to help, no judgement.

Please follow the reasonable directions of our crew, security, medical staff and police at all times.

17. Camping and vehicles

Camping is only for Camping & Festival ticket holders, from the arrival day on your ticket. Every vehicle in the campground needs a Campground Vehicle Pass. Setups over 7m, such as caravans and trailers, need two.

Vehicles in the campground are parked in until 6am on Monday 8 February 2027. If you need to drive out earlier, tell the gate and parking crew when you arrive, so they can park you in the Early Leavers car park.

Day Parking is for non-camping ticket holders with a Day Parking pass. Arrive and leave within gate hours. Cars left overnight may be fined and towed.

Please leave your campsite as you found it. Anything left behind will be disposed of.

18. Leaving and coming back

Pass-outs are allowed for valid reasons. Keep your wristband on. Without it, you won’t get back in.

19. Filming and photography

The festival will be filmed, photographed and recorded. By attending, you agree that you may appear in this content, and that we and our partners may use it to promote Party In The Paddock without payment. If you’d rather not be featured, let our crew or photographers know on the day.

You can take photos and videos for personal use. Commercial filming or photography needs our written approval, and professional cameras need a valid media pass.

20. Health and safety

Festivals involve loud music, bright and flashing lights (including strobe), haze, crowds, uneven ground, dust and mud. Please look after yourself: wear sun protection, stay hydrated, consider earplugs, and come to First Aid if you need help.

To the extent the law allows, you attend at your own risk. Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

21. Your belongings

Please look after your belongings. To the extent the law allows, we’re not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property. Lost property is handed in to the Info Booth.

22. Accessibility

We want PITP to work for everyone. Companion Cards are accepted. Arrange your companion’s ticket through Oztix, and bring your card to the gate. See our Accessibility page, or contact us about any specific needs before you arrive.

23. Trading and promotions

You can’t sell goods or services, hand out flyers or samples, or run any promotion or sponsorship activity on site without our written approval.

PART C: OUR WEBSITE AND APP

24. Using our website and app

You’re welcome to use our website and app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don’t misuse them. For example, don’t:

  • try to hack or interfere with them;

25. Our content

Everything on our website and app (including logos, artwork, photos, video, text and design) belongs to us or our licensors. You can share our posts and pages, but please don’t copy, change or use our content commercially without our written permission.

26. Accuracy

27. Links to other sites

Our website links to other sites, including Oztix, Tixel and our partners. We’re not responsible for their content, products or terms.

28. Things you send us

When you send us content (for example in a competition, application or by tagging us), you give us permission to use it to run and promote Party In The Paddock, with credit where practical. You must have the right to share it.

29. Privacy

We handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

PART D: GENERAL

30. Liability

Our goods and services come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Apart from those guarantees, and to the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for any indirect or consequential loss connected with the festival, your ticket, or our website or app.

31. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on our website, with the date it was last updated. Changes won’t take away rights you already have under a ticket you’ve bought.

32. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania.
