Conditions of entry - party in the paddock 2027

Last updated: 29/09/26

The Paddock is a place where everyone looks after each other. These conditions set out the rules that keep it that way. By buying a ticket, holding a ticket or entering the festival, you agree to them, so please give them a read before you arrive.

Party In The Paddock 2027 (the Festival) is held Thursday 4 – Sunday 7 February 2027 at Quercus Park, 415 Oaks Road, Carrick TAS 7291, on Palawa/Tasmanian Aboriginal land. It is run by Vibestown Productions Pty Ltd (ABN 97 609 008 853) (we, us, our). These conditions apply alongside the terms of our ticketing partner, Oztix, and any directions from our staff, security, police or emergency services on site.

1. Tickets

     1. A valid ticket or wristband is required for entry for everyone aged 13 or over. Children aged 12 and under do not need a ticket but must be accompanied as set out in section 3.

     2. Tickets must be bought from Oztix or resold through our official resale partner, Tixel. Tickets bought from any other source may be invalid, and we can’t help if you’re refused entry with one.

     3. Tickets are valid only for the days and entitlements shown on them. Camping, campground vehicle passes, day parking, Club Paddock, pre-pitched tents, glamping and bus passes are separate products and must be bought separately.

     4. Tickets may not be resold for more than their face value (plus booking fees), or used for commercial purposes, promotions or competitions without our written approval. We may cancel tickets bought or resold in breach of this condition.

     5. You don’t need your name on your ticket, but you are responsible for keeping it secure. The first ticket scanned will be accepted, and duplicated or copied tickets will be refused.

2. ID and wristbands

     6. You must show a valid photo ID to collect your wristband. We follow the same ID rules as licensed venues in Tasmania. No ID, no wristband.

     7. Your wristband must be worn on your wrist for the whole Festival and must not be removed, tampered with, transferred or swapped. Damaged, removed or tampered wristbands will not be replaced, and you may be refused re-entry.

     8. Pass-outs are allowed for valid reasons, as long as you’re wearing your original wristband.

3. Under-18s

     9. PITP is an all-ages event. Anyone under 18 must arrive with, and stay with at all times, a parent or legal guardian, a responsible adult aged 21 or over, or a sibling aged 18 or over (their Guardian).

     10. A Guardian may be responsible for no more than two under-18s. Siblings and step-siblings must show proof of the relationship, such as a matching surname or home address on their ID, when collecting wristbands.

     11. Before arrival, the under-18’s parent or legal guardian and the appointed Guardian must complete our Underage Consent Form, in the presence of a witness. Under-18s without a completed form will be refused entry.

     12. Volunteers and staff working at the Festival cannot act as a Guardian.

     13. Under-18s found drinking or holding alcohol will be removed from the Festival, along with their Guardian and any other under-18s in that Guardian’s care, without a refund.

     14. Some areas are 18+ at certain times. For example, the Club Paddock lounge and deck are 18+ after 7:30pm.

4. Alcohol and drugs

     15. PITP is strictly no BYO alcohol. Any alcohol found at entry or on site will be confiscated and disposed of, and you may be refused entry or removed without a refund.

     16. Alcohol is served under Tasmania’s responsible service of alcohol laws. Bar staff will refuse service to anyone under 18 or who appears intoxicated, and it is an offence to supply alcohol to a minor.

     17. Illegal drugs are not permitted. We may refer any illegal activity to Tasmania Police.

5. Searches and prohibited items

     18. You, your bags and your vehicle may be searched on entry and at any time on site. If you refuse a search, you may be refused entry or removed.

     19. The following items are not permitted: alcohol; illegal drugs; glass of any kind; gas bottles and canisters (except gas properly fitted to a caravan or campervan); camp stoves of any kind, including gas, electric and Trangia stoves; knives, tools and other sharp items; weapons; fireworks and flares; laser pointers; generators; large sound systems; personal motorised vehicles (including motorised eskies); drones; and pets. Assistance animals with the correct paperwork are welcome.

     20. We may refuse entry to, or confiscate, any other item that our staff reasonably consider dangerous or disruptive.

     21. Confiscated items (other than alcohol, drugs and illegal items) can be collected from the info tent at the end of the Festival. Anything not collected will be disposed of.

6. Behaviour , the Paddock non-negotiables

     22. Respect yourself, Country and others. Our Dickhead Free, Hands Off and Be Safe, Look After Your Mates policies apply to everyone, everywhere, for the whole Festival.

     23. Harassment, discrimination, sexual harassment or assault, violence, threatening behaviour, and damage to property or the land will not be tolerated. We may remove anyone who breaches these conditions or puts others at risk, without a refund, and may refer matters to Tasmania Police. We may also refuse entry to future Vibestown events.

     24. Please follow the directions of our staff, security, medical teams and police at all times.

7. Vehicles, parking and camping

     25. Vehicles in the campground need a Campground Vehicle Pass, which is only valid with a Camping & Festival ticket. Trailers, caravans and campervans need a second pass. Vehicles without a valid pass will be charged at the gate.

     26. Campground vehicles are parked in order of arrival and cannot leave until Monday 8 February 2027, unless you ask to be parked in the Early Leavers car park when you arrive.

     27. Day parking is for day ticket holders with a Day Parking pass. Vehicles must arrive and leave within gate hours and cannot stay overnight. Vehicles parked illegally, including on Oaks Road and surrounding roads, may be fined and towed at the owner’s cost.

     28. Campsites are allocated in order of arrival and cannot be reserved. There are no powered sites. The Mellow Meadow is a quieter camping area, but it is not a silent zone and has no enforced curfew.

     29. Quercus Park is a working farm. Please leave no trace: take your tent, gear and rubbish home with you. Abandoned tents and gear will be disposed of.

8. Photography and filming

     30. The Festival is a public event and will be photographed and filmed by us and our media partners. By attending, you agree that you may appear in photos, video or recordings, which we may use to promote PITP and Vibestown events without payment. If you would rather not be filmed, let our crew know on the day. See our Privacy Policy for more.

     31. Personal photos and phone footage for personal use are fine. Professional cameras, including DSLRs, and professional audio or video recording equipment are not permitted without a media pass. Recordings of performances may not be used commercially.

9. Health, safety and your belongings

     32. PITP is an outdoor, multi-day event on farmland. Ground can be uneven, dusty or muddy, and Tasmanian weather changes fast. Please bring appropriate clothing, sun protection and water, and look after yourself and your mates.

     33. Performances may include loud music, bright and flashing lights (including strobe), haze and coarse language. Prolonged exposure to loud music can damage hearing, so we recommend earplugs.

     34. Our on-site medical team is there to help. If you need medical assistance and are unable to consent, you agree to receive treatment, including transport to hospital, where our medical staff consider it necessary.

     35. You are responsible for your own belongings. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property. Lost property can be handed in at, or collected from, the info tent.

10. Changes, weather and cancellation

     36. The lineup, set times, stages and activities may change. Artist changes or cancellations are not grounds for a refund, except where required by law.

     37. The Festival runs rain or shine. We may delay, suspend or close any area or part of the Festival for safety reasons, including extreme weather, fire danger or directions from emergency services.

     38. If the Festival is cancelled, ticket holders will be offered a refund of the ticket price through Oztix. If it is postponed, tickets will be valid for the new date.

     39. Nothing in these conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. General

     40. We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who does not comply with these conditions. In that case you will not be entitled to a refund, except where required by law.

     41. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, injury or damage you suffer at the Festival, except where it is caused by our negligence or breach of these conditions.

     42. We may update these conditions before the Festival. The latest version will always be on our website.

     43. These conditions are governed by the laws of Tasmania.
